Job Description

Licensed Sales Professional opportunities are for true sales and customer-oriented individuals.  Licensed Sales Professionals have the opportunity to work as a member of a team of professionals focused on providing insurance and financial products to help customers protect their homes, cars, lives and retirement incomes.
As a Licensed Sales Professional, you will be an employee of the agency and not of Allstate Insurance Company or its affiliates.  Agency staff members perform the fundamental role of servicing customers, supporting the agency owner and building strong relationships within the community. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure positive customer experience with every interaction
  • Deepening relationships with customers by selling additional products 
  • Providing excellent customer service by processing payments & reporting claims 
  • Conducting needs-based policy reviews and updating policies and coverage as needed
  • Cross-selling existing customers with other Allstate products and brokered products where available
  • Ability to market/prospect and generate new business through leads & referrals
  • Work with and learn from other sales staff, agent and Allstate Leaders
  • Conduct 75-100 calls/day on average
  • Generating quotes at high volumes
  • Accurately explain coverages and benefits
  • Close new business timely and accurately
  • Follow lead processes and follow up procedures as identified
  • Maintaining accurate documentation in agency systems 
  • Maintain required licenses 
Experience:
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills 
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently 
  • Ability to effectively work with teammates to ensure seamless customer experience but also work independently to meet individual goals and requirements
  • Efficient and driven to fulfill customer needs
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must have ability to multi-task 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • A Property & Casualty license with one year minimum insurance agency experience preferred (Unlicensed candidates who are willing to obtain their property and casualty licenses may also be considered)
Salary: Established by agency owner
Benefits: PTO after 6 months
Working hours: Monday 8:30-5:30, Tuesday thru Thursday 8:30-6, Friday 8:30-5, and Saturday 9-1
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
