DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Economic Development Update\n\n\n\nWorkforce Housing in Dane County: \n\nWhat is it and what are private sector employers doing to address the need?\n\nPresented By: Lorrie Heinemann\, President & CEO of Madison Development Corporation\n\n\n\n \n\nAbout Our Speaker:\n\nLorrie Heinemann is the President & CEO of Madison Development Corporation\, which she joined in 2016 and has helped significantly grow MDC's workforce housing assets and their Lending & Investment Funds. Since 2016 MDC grew from 207 to 313 units by completing a 46-unit\, acquiring a 60-unit and breaking ground on a 44-unit. the 44-unit will be "universally designed" and named "The Grasskamp" after Professor James A Grasskamp. The Grasskamp Park\, the first fully accessible park in Wisconsin\, is also being renovated pending a successful fundraising campaign. MDC's housing portfolio includes 4 multi-family buildings on Allen Blvd in Middleton.
