DESCRIPTION:The Campus Master Plan: A Vision for the Future\n\nPresented By: Aaron Williams\, University of Wisconsin - Madison\, Interim Director\, Campus Planning & Landscape Architecture\n\n\n\nThe UW-Madison's Campus Master Plan provides a roadmap for future development options from 2015 to 2025 along with design guidelines\, updates to the 2005 campus utilities and transportation master plans\, the first ever landscape master plan and a new stormwater management/green infrastructure plan for the 938-acre campus in downtown Madison. The overall plan was also the first ever City of Madison approved campus master plan as required by municipal ordinance\, saving the university time and money on municipal entitlement processes. Overall goals\, major initiatives and thoughts about physical planning at a higher education learning environment will be shared.\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker:\n\nAaron Williams\, PLA\, ASLA\, is a licensed landscape architect who is responsible for interpreting\, updating and recommending methods of implementing the Campus Master Plan\; provides detailed area physical development plans\; provides professional landscape architecture services for the campus\; participates and leads special studies related to land use plans\, building massing studies\, transportation planning initiatives\;  coordinates signage and wayfinding\; coordinates municipal zoning approvals\; works with neighborhoods and special interest groups\, and participates in joint University/Community planning efforts.\n\n\n\n Thank you to our Event Sponsors:
