The justification for leadership development (LD) in organizations has had many points of origin. Regardless of those, the approaches taken for that development generally fall along some very conventional and traditional lines. They are all well and good, but why with the amount of money spent on LD, do we not see greater and longer lasting benefits? In this presentation we will explore those questions and suggest a few approaches to LD that you’ll likely find to be neither conventional nor traditional.
