Membership and Administration Coordinator

AMPED Association Management is a full-service association management firm, handling all aspects of associations with the care and expertise members expect. We are the headquarters for state, national and international trade and professional membership associations. We are excited to add the following position to our team if we can find the right fit. The position can be based out of our Headquarters Office outside of Madison, Wisconsin or in our DC Area Office in Alexandria, VA. There is also the opportunity for this position to work remotely. 

The Membership and Administration Coordinator will proactively support the growing needs of AMPED and its clients. They must be able to work independently and be organized and efficient with their time to handle tasks quickly and with great care. Ideal candidates should be adaptive, flexible, proactive, innovative and have attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone new to the association management field or who aspires to be an Executive Director. Specific functions for a subset of AMPED clients will include:

  • Day-to-day operations: answering phone calls as needed, fielding questions via email, processing membership applications, assisting members with changes to their membership
  • Website/social media updates – working in conjunction with the Marketing and Communications Manager
  • Plan, execute and manage the membership renewal campaign(s) and related processes
  • Manage member onboarding process and membership prospecting campaigns
  • General maintenance of membership database
  • Maintain donation systems and donor reporting
  • Administer scholarship programs
  • Maintain learning management system and online content for membership 
  • Governance support: work with Account Executive and Board Chair(s) to develop meeting agendas; collect and post meeting materials; record minutes; support committees; field and respond to volunteer leader requests
  • Event support: manage and/or assist in collection of speaker materials; communication with speakers and overall logistics; monitor event registrations and assist members with registration updates
