Associate Financial Planner

Serve as an Associate Financial Planner providing technical financial planning and investment management support services under the guidance and direction of the company owner and related senior staff.  Performance as a problem-solver through research and fact finding, follow through, and attention to detail are important.  Must be a quick starter and execute professional communications.

Duties include but are not limited to:  attend client meetings, take notes, and complete follow-up with clients on outstanding tasks; prepare financial plans for review by the senior advisor; manage CRM and other financial applications; serve as liaison to Schwab regarding client requests or action items; manage client appointments; answer non-advisory questions and handle client paperwork; evaluate technology tools or applications to improve business operations; and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Personal Finance or other relevant field, from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 2 or more years of relevant work experience in financial services, accounting or similar field is desired.
  • Being a CFP is ideal, alternately coursework toward CFP certification in progress is desired. 
  • Series 65 license a plus.
