It’s hard to believe that Q1 is already in our rearview mirror. As we enter the spring and summer seasons, I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to reflect on what our organization has already accomplished this year.
In January, a membership survey was conducted and the feedback we received has been invaluable to the chamber staff to help focus on the immediate concerns of our business community. Some of the concerns included the need for additional communication on COVID-19 resources, developing more ways to connect members, providing micro-focused programming, and supporting our business community through advocacy. The feedback we received resulted in the following:
- Expanding our Resource Page
- Providing additional one-on-one networking with Networking Blitz
- Micro-focused programming around the “new normal”
- Updates on how we are advocating for our business community
We have hosted 20 events, all virtually, with more than 750 attendees; including 125 registrations for Sip & Sample in February where attendees enjoyed delicious food, hilarious entertainment, and an amazing mixologist.
The rest of the year looks to be just as impressive as we start to plan our annual golf outing, expand membership, and explore new benefits for our members.
The Middleton Chamber Board of Directors and staff thank you for your membership and support of our organization.
