About Our Speaker:
Lorrie Heinemann is the President & CEO of Madison Development Corporation, which she joined in 2016 and has helped significantly grow MDC's workforce housing assets and their Lending & Investment Funds. Since 2016 MDC grew from 207 to 313 units by completing a 46-unit, acquiring a 60-unit and breaking ground on a 44-unit. the 44-unit will be "universally designed" and named "The Grasskamp" after Professor James A Grasskamp. The Grasskamp Park, the first fully accessible park in Wisconsin, is also being renovated pending a successful fundraising campaign. MDC's housing portfolio includes 4 multi-family buildings on Allen Blvd in Middleton. Lorrie is a champion of workforce housing and is working with the Economic Stability Council of Dane County (Chaired by Rich Lynch of JH Findorff) to help finance the creation of more affordable workforce housing units in Dane County by partnering with Employers and Developers in the region.
