Voice of the Customer

Not all Social Media speak the same! Understanding your customer is an essential marketing need, but do you know the Voice of Your Customer? How do you figure that out (hint: you'll need to do some research. If you're guessing, that can be a costly mistake). And their Voice is different on each social media platform you may use. What are the Voice rules of Instagram over Facebook? What about YouTube? It's as different as radio is to newspaper. This session will cover how to identify your customer's Voice, and which social mediums are appropriate (or not appropriate) for your business.
About the Speaker: Steve is a full time Marketing Professor with Madison College where he specializes in Digital and New Media. He also has extensive experience in the business world through consulting and other projects, as well as over 15 years of industry work before switching to teaching. No stranger to technology, Steve is also an accomplished photographer and theatre director. He has served on the board of several not-for-profits and continues to help small local organizations with digital marketing.
