Regional Planning for Development Presented By: Capital Area Regional Planning Commission
Capital Area Regional Planning Commission (CARPC) staff will report on the Regional Development Framework, a newly adopted guide for communities, businesses, and organizations for the physical development of the region. The Framework recommends development strategies to achieve widely shared goals and objectives for the region. They will describe how the Framework applies to the Middleton area. They will also highlight the Black Earth Creek Watershed Green Infrastructure Planning effort, a multi-community and stakeholder initiative to increase flood resiliency and enhance outdoor recreation and economic development, and report on their economic development data services.
We are excited for the opportunity to gather and make connections in-person. We will follow all orders and mandates that are in place by Public Health at the time of this event. For the health and safety of our members and staff, we highly recommend every attendee be vaccinated.
