Renewable Resources: A Look Around The Area
Join Ben Austin, Sustainability Lead at J.H. Findorff & Son, Inc., for a discussion around the topics and strategies of net zero buildings. Ben will highlight the first net zero energy K-12 school in the state, Forest Edge Elementary in Oregon, Wisconsin.
We will also have Dane County Executive Joe Parisi sharing information about renewable energy. With the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act in Congress, he will talk about the tax incentives for renewable and energy efficiency projects under the Act.
Virent’s Dave Kettner joins the discussion to share how their breakthrough technology transforms renewable plant sugars into the same range of hydrocarbon molecules historically made from refining petroleum.
