Vaccine efforts are underway but the fear of returning to the workplace is still very real. Join us as John Gardner, DeWitt LLP, discusses many best practices for employers and what employees should know.
We’ll take a look at how to limit potential legal risks, liabilities and legal implications associated with COVID-19 in the workplace and in business relations, answer:
- Can an employer require an employee to get the vaccine?
- What can and can’t be asked of employees?
- How to avoid potential insurance claims and litigation?
About the Speaker:
John Gardner is a Partner at DeWitt LLP, one of Wisconsin’s largest law firms. He serves as Chair of the Firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group and is also a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Eminent Domain Practice Groups. John regularly advises employers on a wide-variety of labor and employment law matters, and has spent much of the last year counseling employers on employment issues relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. John is a frequent presenter on employer-side employment and labor law matters. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. John is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Illinois.
