Maintenance Tech (Drywall, Painting, Electrical, and more!)

Representative Responsibilities:
• Maintains building
• Assists in maintaining building HVAC
• Assist with equipment serviced by outside contractors.
• Maintains interior and exterior lighting and repair's fixtures as needed
• Maintains building plumbing systems
• Maintains outdoor grounds as well as sidewalks and building entry / exits.
• Assist in setting up employee workstations as needed.
• Assists in performing quarterly and annual inspections of the sprinkler system
• Performs preventative and emergency maintenance on factory equipment.
• Assist with equipment serviced by outside contractors.
• Set up or adjust manufacturing areas as needed
• Support all manufacturing equipment that require preventive maintenance or repairs
• Follows policies and procedures for maintenance and repairs, reports necessary changes when identified.
• Entering equipment and task data into SAP
• Stocks supplies
• Ensures building supplies, such as paint, bulbs, ballasts, filters, and belts are ordered in a timely fashion so that there is sufficient stock in-house when needed
• Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Ensures after task is completed, floor is swept and tools are returned to the designated locations
• Communicates identifiable problems to management when problems arise
• Assist with inspecting and installing machine guarding, storage for material, plant maintenance, aisle ways, etc. for compliance with established standards
• Ensures priorities are met and jobs are completed on time
• Ensures safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Ensures that safe methods and practices are used
• Abides by safety procedures, work practice controls, and OSHA guidelines
• Ensures that personal protective equipment is worn when required
• Other duties as assigned
• Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• All levels of previous job-related experience will be considered
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks without general supervision
• Good manual dexterity
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, and other maintenance areas
• Able to use power tools, hand tools
• Able to legally drive forklift and operate pallet jack
• Able to operate scissors lift
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Understands and applies accepted helpdesk principles and practices
