What you'll be doing:
• Manufactures parts to the standards and specifications
• Follows procedures and selects tools and materials
• Operates both Metal and Wood working machines. This includes saws, drills, routers, mills, and small tools.
• Ensures work orders are completed
• Maintains expected productivity output levels and completes assignments as scheduled
• Ensures machines are running at full capacity for each job
• Completes paperwork correctly, labels parts per work order and forward the product to the next station
• Maintains continuity by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs for the next shift
• Ensures product quality meets standards by frequently checking work
• Builds parts to quality standards within specified tolerance as reflected on print
• Follows ISO procedures
• Uses appropriate documentation, e.g. ECRs, and NCMR, to identify and communicate issues
• Completes machine maintenance in a timely manner
• Reports all identified problems to the team leader or manager
• Maintain tools regularly and informs team lead or manager of tooling needs
• Adheres to safety standards at all times

Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• 6-12 months of experience setting up and maintaining metal and wood shop equipment preferred
• Knowledge of various metal and wood shop machines
• Good organizational skills
• Good math skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Able to read blueprints
• Basic English skills to understand quality, safety, work instructions, personnel information, etc.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
