One of methodologies is Stages of Growth. The complexity of growing businesses is depend on the number of employees, and not on the revenue or the time in the industry. For example, Stages 1 and 2 businesses have 1 to 10 and 11 to 19 employees including part time and consultant. Each Stage has 10 dimensions and rules to grow. For example, adding 1 employee to a Stage 1 company will change the 10 dimensions to grow because the company has become a Stage 2 company which has totally different requirements to grow.
