Amy Roen-Kim is an Iowa girl who moved to the Madison, WI area 20 years ago after graduating from pharmacy school at the University of Iowa. She has always been an old soul and fell in love with estate sales a decade ago. From the vintage goods to hearing people’s fascinating journeys in life, Amy was hooked. Starting her own business was always in the back of her mind as a pipe dream to be accomplished “later”. Amy realized how short life is when her terminal father-in-law moved in. Thus, Tallulah & Stella’s was created. Life is short, do what you love.
The name, Tallulah & Stella's comes from Amy's best friend, also named Amy. Amy wanted a name that meant something, and Tallulah & Stella’s means a great deal to her. When they travel together, Amy and her friend, Amy, are often teased about having the same name. Eventually, they began telling people their names were Tallulah and Stella. The name has been around for years and Amy could think of no better way to honor her friend, their journey and the business with this name.
