About Us

We are a non-profit devoted to encouraging a healthy lifestyle for kids ages 3-14 through swimming, biking, and running events and programs that support local school health and fitness initiatives. Since 2011, over 15,000 kids have participated in a Tri 4 Schools event or after-school program, raising over $400,000 for area schools!

We are unique in the fact that we do not use event entry fees to cover our costs. Instead, we work with community partners, such as businesses, grantmaking organizations, and public donations to help fund our programs so entry fees can be distributed back in to schools to keep our kids healthy! Our concept earned us the title of one of the country's ''Ten Best Ideas to End Childhood Obesity'' by Michelle Obama's Let's Move initiative and the Partnership for a Healthier America in 2013.

We offer adaptive triathlons in Waunakee and Middleton to make sure all kids have opportunities to be active!
Our last three triathlons have sold out at 500 athletes, proving that swimming, biking, and running are fun for ALL ages!
Kids ages 3-14 are invited to participate in all of our events, which teach confidence, goal-setting, and the importance of an active lifestyle.
In addition to two triathlons, we also host two youth mud runs each year, which have seen record attendance in 2014 at over 800 athletes!
We believe all kids have the right to be healthy, so we offer scholarships, transportation ,and help with equipment for any child who needs it.
