Employees don't leave organizations, they leave managers. Good management skills are necessary for strong employee engagement, productivity, and retention. We help managers who have little or no interpersonal or management skills develop and practice them in structured self-directed peer learning groups. Often, these are managers who were promoted due to their technical expertise, longevity with the organization, or high sales volumes. Unfortunately, those skill sets don't transfer well into management. In our Peer Learning Group Program, the managers learn just-in-time skills and techniques to handle a current management challenge. They put their new skills into practice immediately and receive weekly reinforcement for a month, after which they are held accountable for using their new skills by their peer learning group.
